Job summary

QinetiQ Limited in Farnborough is seeking an Associate IT Engineer to join a team delivering IT solutions for projects and programmes. You will support design, implementation, integration and test activities across the project lifecycle.

The role is at our Farnborough site, 37 hours per week, and requires a degree in Science or Engineering with IT engineering experience. You will work with Windows, Linux, networks and Hyper-V to provide robust IT infrastructure support.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in an IT engineering role.
• Broad concepts in IT across Windows, networking and Linux.
• Experience with Windows Client/Server, Networking, Virtualisation (Hyper-V) and Linux.

Responsibilities

• Delivering hardware/software builds and systems installation.
• Building relationships with customers.
• Delivering outputs such as technical presentations, technical documentation, test plans and reports, user guides and work instructions.
• Undertaking tasks with moderate guidance.
