Job summary

QinetiQ Limited is seeking a Junior Cyber Security Consultant to join our Farnborough-based security team. You will support project security activities, assist with risk assessments, and help maintain Secure by Design artefacts throughout the project lifecycle.

The role is 37 hours per week, on-site at Farnborough, with a focus on MoD policies and compliance. The successful candidate will have experience in security or cyber environments, strong communication skills, and a proactive approach to

Qualifications

• Previous experience working within security, information assurance or cyber security environments.
• Demonstrable experience communicating effectively and collaborating within multi-disciplinary teams.
• Experience managing workloads and delivering tasks to deadlines.
• Prior experience or strong interest in MoD environments and defence security.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the delivery of project security activities as Project Core Security.
• Providing guidance on MoD and HMG security policies, standards and compliance.
• Assisting with security risk assessments and Secure by Design activities.
• Maintaining facility certification and supporting system accreditation and security assurance.
