Salary:£40,600 - £44,000 depending on relevant skills, knowledge and experience. The expected salary range for this role reflects internal benchmarking and external market insights.
Contract:1 X FTC June 2025 to August 2026
Locations: Birmingham & Salford - This is a hybrid role and the successful candidate will balance office working with home working. London Weighting may be applicable.

The successful candidate will join the People Services team as an Associate HR Business Partner. As an Associate HR Business Partner, you’ll work closely with Divisional HR Business Partners within our Content Division, specifically the team supporting TV and Radio, to deliver our exciting and ambitious people agenda within the BBC.
Working as part of a centralised People Services team you’ll be embedded within a Divisional HR team, where you will gain an understanding of the challenges and priorities of the Division, and provide support which enables them to deliver world class content to our audiences.You will act as a trusted advisor to your business area, understanding and supporting delivery of the people strategy, but also supporting on a wide range of day to day HR issues and projects.You’ll manage stakeholder relationships, not only with the business areas but also across the wider HR function drawing on the specialist advice and support from teams such as Reward, HR Systems and Data Analytics. This role is an amazing opportunity to develop a wide range of HR skills to grow your career.
You will have previous experience in a HR generalist role, either at Specialist or Senior Advisor level. You will be confident to work in a matrix organisation and excel at collaborative working in a complex environment. You will be a great communicator that can build relationships at all levels, and be pro-active to take initiative with problem solving. This role offers scope for development and improvement of your existing skills as an HR generalist. Experience in an HR Technology role would be advantageous.
