Salary: £40,600 - £44,000 depending on relevant skills, knowledge and experience. The expected salary range for this role reflects internal benchmarking and external market insights.
Contract: 1 X FTC June 2025 to August 2026
Locations: Birmingham & Salford - This is a hybrid role and the successful candidate will balance office working with home working. London Weighting may be applicable.

The successful candidate will join the People Services team as an Associate HR Business Partner. As an Associate HR Business Partner, you'll work closely with Divisional HR Business Partners within our Content Division, specifically supporting TV and Radio, to deliver our ambitious people agenda within the BBC.
Working as part of a centralised People Services team, you'll be embedded within a Divisional HR team, gaining understanding of their challenges and priorities, and supporting their delivery of world-class content. You will act as a trusted advisor, supporting the delivery of the people strategy and handling day-to-day HR issues and projects. You'll manage stakeholder relationships across the business and HR functions, drawing on specialist advice from teams like Reward, HR Systems, and Data Analytics. This role offers a great opportunity to develop a broad range of HR skills and grow your career.

You will have experience in a HR generalist role, either at Specialist or Senior Advisor level. You should be confident working in a matrix organisation, excel at collaboration, and be a strong communicator. Proactivity and problem-solving skills are essential.
