Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking an Associate or Associate Director Civil Water Engineer to join our Water team in the UK, leading design and delivery of critical water infrastructure across regulated and non-regulated markets.

You will influence client strategy, mentor engineers, and help grow our business across multiple offices; hybrid working with three days in office. The role offers progression and the chance to pursue Fellowship with ICE or CIWEM.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Chartered status with ICE or equivalent, or extensive industry experience.
• Experience leading technical delivery in multidisciplinary environments.
• Water sector knowledge or strong understanding of UK water operations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee design and delivery across feasibility to construction.
• Collaborate across disciplines to deliver integrated outcomes.
• Build strong client, stakeholder and partner relationships.
• Mentor developing engineers and grow the team.
• Support project planning, resources, commercial performance, and risk.
• Contribute to business development and framework growth.
• Champion innovation and adoption of new technologies.
• Identify opportunities that create client and community value.
