Job summary

AECOM is seeking an Associate Director to lead end-to-end HV substation design for UK/I projects, based in London or Ireland with hybrid working. You will direct technical delivery, define interfaces between HV infrastructure, and coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure timely and compliant deliverables.

Qualifications

• Must have consultancy/contractor or utility energy sector experience.
• Experience delivering HV infrastructure design at concept, FEED and detailed design stages.
• Strong understanding of electrical AC HV plant and equipment (AIS/GIS).
• Familiarity with National Grid standards and specifications.
• Proposal and bid development experience with multi-discipline submissions.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end HV substation design from concept through energisation.
• Direct technical delivery of HV substation design projects and coordinate with engineering teams.
• Define interfaces between HV infrastructure and ensure coordinated delivery.
