Job summary

Haskoning, a leading independent international consultancy, seeks an Associate Director to lead the delivery of traffic, active travel, public realm and highway engineering projects in the UK. You will provide technical leadership, manage multidisciplinary teams, ensure designs meet UK standards, and develop strong client relationships while pursuing new opportunities.

This role is based in Manchester with hybrid working.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering highway and infrastructure design solutions.
• Knowledge of UK/regional highway standards and stakeholder coordination.
• Strong consultancy background with client relationship development.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of traffic, active travel, public realm and highway projects from concept to detailed design.
• Act as Project Director and Project Manager, monitoring financial performance and KPIs.
• Review and approve designs, ensure compliance with briefs and standards.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to engineers and designers.
