Job summary

AECOM is seeking an Associate Director - Environmental Impact Assessment to lead environmental inputs for major infrastructure projects across the UK. You will manage multidisciplinary teams, drive EIA study work, and help clients secure development consent while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.

The role offers hybrid working arrangements and the opportunity to influence ESG outcomes across diverse sectors, including energy, transport, and regeneration.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing EIA projects and applicable planning legislation.
• Experience with DCOs and/or TWAO processes.
• Able to coordinate multidisciplinary inputs and manage project programmes.

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary environmental inputs across a wide range of projects to gain development consent.
• Collaborate with integrated design teams to mitigate environmental impacts.
• Create and develop business opportunities and fee proposals.
• Inspire and mentor staff within the team.
• Champion AECOM’s environmental services to clients and audiences.
