Stantec is seeking an Associate Director – EIA / DCO to join our environmental team in Bristol, London or Reading. You will lead environmental assessment and consenting services across a diverse portfolio of infrastructure projects.

You’ll work with planners, environmental specialists and engineers to deliver EIA and DCO workstreams, advise on strategy, and grow our capability across the UK. This role combines technical leadership with project and commercial management.

Responsabilités

• Lead Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA) for Development Consent Order (DCO) applications and other major infrastructure projects.
• Provide strategic environmental advice on assessment, consenting strategy and management of complex environmental issues.
• Lead EIA and consenting workstreams from project inception through scoping, assessment, consultation, Environmental Statement preparation, submission and examination.
• Advise on the Planning Act 2008, EIA legislation and related planning and consenting requirements.
• Oversee preparation, coordination and QA of Environmental Statements, scoping reports, environmental information and consultation materials.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams to ensure robust, proportionate environmental assessments aligned with design, programme and consenting requirements.
• Manage environmental risks, constraints and interfaces, developing practical solutions for delivery and consenting outcomes.
• Provide guidance on consultation responses, statutory consultee engagement and examination questions.
