  • Solid and demonstrable experience of senior stakeholder relationship management.
  • Experience across trade lifecycle for ETD products.
  • Proven experience managing IT deliveries as a project lead.
  • Demonstrable experience of developing process operating models.
  • Experience at representing organisations at industry or vendor forums.

Role Purpose

As part of the Derivatives Clearing Services (DCS) Product Development team, the purpose of the role is to drive as a Product Owner the delivery of ETD Execution product upgrades, regulatory controls and functional releases for HSBC on our strategic platforms for ETD execution, in support of client business revenue development.

The DCS business is replacing our ETD execution platform while developing our client algo offering to enable business scalability and ensuring regulatory compliance standards are improved globally. This role is to support that growth, and enable the delivery of some strategic projects on our platform front to back.

In this role you will:
  • Partner with regional and global business Strategy and Product Development leads to drive definition into the ETD house / client execution offering and exchange Operating Model.
  • Partner with front to back process owners to drive functional sponsorship and ensure these areas have plans in place to deliver the processes and services needed under the business plan to support the product and functionality releases.
  • Drive the front to back IT development schedule to ensure functional requirements are joined up to provide a workable solution.
  • Document, track and report on the front to back upgrades and product launches or release plan on a weekly basis.
  • Drive the Operating Model design for each functional and product release to ensure all impacted parties fully understand their role in the process.
  • Work closely with front to back stakeholders to agree on the specification, timing and delivery of cross functional services.
To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:
  • Possesses excellent ETD (Exchange Traded Derivatives – Listed Futures & Options) business and operational process experience at an investment Bank.
  • Strong ETD execution and algo trading knowledge from a sell side environment.
  • Experience of working with industry standard ETD IT systems such as TT, UL, etc.
  • Solid and demonstrable experience through interview examples of senior stakeholder relationship management.
  • Experience across trade lifecycle for ETD products.
  • Proven experience managing IT deliveries as a project lead.
  • Demonstrable experience of developing process operating models.
  • Experience at representing organisations at industry or vendor forums.

This role is based in London.
