Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking an Associate Director to lead Consents Management within the Programme Integration and Infrastructure teams. This role focuses on coordinating national consent processes, advising on DCO/TWAO/TCPA pathways, and delivering pre- and post-consent deliverables for major projects.

You will mentor junior staff, manage client relationships, identify new business opportunities, and contribute to bid proposals.

Qualifications

• Deep understanding of major project planning and consent processes.
• Proven ability to lead complex consents workstreams.
• Experience with DCO, TWAO or TCPA consent routes.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Track record of delivering tangible results on large projects.

Responsibilities

• Leading or contributing to consents strategy from pre- to post-consent stages.
• Coordinate approvals and notifications with stakeholders across large programmes.
• Manage client relationships and identify new business opportunities.
• Mentor and line-manage Programme Advisory team members where applicable.
• Deliver high-quality consents deliverables within tight timescales.
• Contribute to development of programme integration products and methodologies.
• Engage with cross-functional teams across infrastructure, transport and utilities sectors.
