Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking a Principal Consultant to lead consents management within the Programme Integration team. You will work on Nationally Significant Infrastructure projects, guiding pre- and post-consent activities, coordinating approvals, and delivering complex stakeholder engagement across multiple workstreams.

The role requires extensive experience in consents strategy, regulatory routes (DCO/TWAO/TCPA), and client relationship management in a consulting or large organisation

Qualifications

• Experience leading consents from pre to post consent.
• Experience with DCO, TWAO, or TCPA consenting routes.
• Experience in large, complex organisations.
• Experience in consulting environments or internal consultancy.
• Proven track record delivering tangible results across projects.

Responsibilities

• Working as part of an integrated project team to ensure delivery of key client deliverables relating to Nationally Significant Infrastructure projects and programmes
• Occupying client or service roles involving consents leadership and management (pre & post consent)
• Managing client relationships
• Identifying and realising business development opportunities
• Leading or contributing towards bid proposals or managing key bids
• Leading internal initiatives within the Programme Advisory team
• Mentoring and/or managing members of the Programme Advisory team
• Line managing junior staff (where applicable)
• Excellent knowledge of the lifecycle of a consents process from pre to post consent
• Experience with DCO, TWAO and TCPA consenting environments
• Experience coordinating approvals and notifications between stakeholders
• Experience in a consulting environment or as internal consultant
