At AtkinsRéalis UK Limited is seeking an Associate/Associate Director Civil Airport Engineer to lead the aviation team across UK and international commissions. You will drive airfield, landside and terminal developments, shaping project strategies, client relationships, and long-term growth.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline (required).
• Chartered status with ICE or equivalent industry experience delivering value.
• Extensive airport/highways pavement design experience.
• Proven ability to lead large, multi-disciplinary design teams.
• Track record in business development, bids and client growth.
• Willingness to travel periodically for project assignments.

Responsabilités

• Provide strategic leadership on complex UK and international airport projects (as Project Director or Technical Lead).
• Lead development and delivery of airfield pavement infrastructure, materials specs, maintenance plans, and condition assessments.
• Ensure high-quality client-facing outputs and rigorous design reviews.
• Lead bids, tenders, and market development to grow opportunities.
• Mentor senior and junior team members and build succession planning.
• Engage with global aviation networks to share knowledge and best practices.
