Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Technical Director for Civil Engineering to lead senior civil engineering delivery across UK land development and infrastructure projects. You will guide multidisciplinary teams, oversee governance and ensure compliant, sustainable outcomes, while expanding client relationships and winning new work.

The role offers hybrid working with UK-wide travel and base locations across hub/offices.

Qualifications

• Degree and professional registration required for senior technical leadership.
• Extensive experience delivering complex land development and infrastructure projects.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and drive growth.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic technical leadership and governance across major land development programmes.
• Lead, mentor and develop senior civil engineers and future leaders.
• Build and maintain trusted client relationships, advising on strategy and delivery.
• Identify, pursue and secure strategic opportunities; shape bids and proposals.
• Drive business growth through market planning and long-term opportunity pipelines.
