Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences seeks an Associate Dean (AD‑M) to lead the Forsyth School of Dental Hygiene program on the Manchester, NH campus. The AD‑M oversees faculty assignments, classroom and laboratory planning, budget management, and resource allocation, reporting to the Dean.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree preferred; master's with experience considered.
• Eligible for New Hampshire dental hygiene licensure and Local Anesthesia permit.
• Evidence of continuing education in educational methodology and teaching innovation.
• Minimum 5 years of full-time faculty experience in dental hygiene education.
• Prior experience as a dental hygiene program director preferred.
• 1–2 years of administrative experience in higher education.
• Minimum 5 years of clinical practice as a dental hygienist.
• 3–5 years of clinical teaching experience in dental hygiene education.
• Experience teaching in graduate dental hygiene programs preferred.
• Experience with remote, hybrid, and online learning environments.
• Record of teaching excellence and commitment to student success.
• Scholarly activity: presentations and publications.
• Experience with CODA accreditation standards and program assessment.
• Commitment to undergraduate, graduate, and professional education, mentoring.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
• Ability to collaborate with students, faculty, staff, alumni and external partners.
• Commitment to inclusive, humanistic learning.

Responsibilities

• Oversee academic and operational activities for the program.
• Manage faculty assignments, classroom and laboratory planning, and budgets.
• Assist with hiring, onboarding, supervising adjunct faculty and evaluations.
• Contribute to strategic planning and school operations.
• Support decision-making across the program.
• Teach and conduct scholarship aligned with Associate Professor/Professor rank.
• Ensure CODA accreditation standards and BORID regulations compliance.
