Job summary

Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences seeks a full-time faculty member to deliver high-quality instruction for its expanded MCPHS Manchester, NH program. The incumbent will teach undergraduate students in classroom and clinical settings, engage in service and scholarship, and mentor students through office hours and appointments.

The appointment supports CODA approval processes and will involve collaboration with university leadership, colleagues, and professional organizations

Qualifications

• Master’s degree required; doctoral degree preferred.
• Minimum of three years of work experience in clinical dental hygiene.
• Minimum of 1–2 years teaching experience at the college/university level.
• Eligibility for Local Anesthesia permit and Dental Hygiene license in New Hampshire.
• Commitment to undergraduate, graduate and/or professional education and student success.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver didactic, laboratory and/or experiential instruction in-person, online, or blended formats.
• Provide syllabi with objectives, outcomes, teaching methodology, and evaluation criteria.
• Develop engaging assignments showing real-world applications of concepts.
• Participate in service activities and committees within the University and community.
• Engage in scholarly activities, including conference presentations or publications.
• Advise students via office hours or appointments and assist with course development.
