Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking an Associate Cost Manager / Commercial Manager to join our infrastructure teams in the United Kingdom. The role requires delivering cost management across major programmes while collaborating with clients and delivery partners in a consultancy setting.

You will apply experience in cost control, forecasting and value engineering, lead project teams, and manage contract changes. MRICS is preferred and NEC3 experience is highly desirable.

Qualifications

• Proven cost/ Commercial management experience.
• MRICS qualification preferred.
• Experience with NEC3 contracts (Option C – Target Cost).

Responsibilities

• Establishing friendly, professional relationships with clients and project teams.
• Administering contracts in line with project objectives and policies.
• Providing accurate project cost monitoring, forecasting and reporting to budget.
• Proactively monitoring cost variance and contract cash flow and ensuring timely applications.
• Collaborating with client and contractor teams on KPIs, cost control, and value engineering.
• Managing contract changes within governance and best practice.
• Driving improvements in forecast and budget accuracy.
• Providing sound commercial knowledge and support to stakeholders.
• Negotiating final accounts and closing projects.
• Leading people and commissions as needed.
