The Associate Account Executive will work closely with our sales & marketing organization. You will be responsible for selling Wordly AI software via web meetings, in-person meetings, and email, responding to high volume inbound and outbound contacts, prospecting, qualifying new business opportunities, closing sales, and collaborating with the marketing team to improve the sales process and help Wordly attain its quota. We are seeking career-minded, high-energy Sales Professionals to help Wordly grow.

Responsibilities:
  • Follow-up on inbound leads from marketing programs and trade shows
  • Identify potential customers and develop sales strategies
  • Respond to RFPs
  • Develop strong and long-term client relationships
  • Negotiate contracts and close agreements
  • Gather customer feedback and suggest ways to increase engagement
  • Travel to marketing events as needed to support trade show activities
  • Resolve issues and handle complaints effectively and promptly
  • Demonstrate and communicate the Wordly value proposition
  • Collaborate with leadership to identify marketing-assisted sales campaigns targeting specific verticals
  • Use sales tools like Hubspot to maintain an accurate sales pipeline
Qualifications:
  • At least 2 years of proven experience in qualifying and closing deals
  • Experience selling technology solutions
  • Proficiency with CRM software and MS Office or GSuite (especially MS Excel/Google Sheets)
  • Ability to analyze sales performance metrics
  • Excellent communication and time management skills
  • Strong analytical and negotiation skills
  • Business acumen with a problem-solving attitude
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Ability to engage with multiple teams across different geographies (Product, Engineering, Marketing)
  • Professional presence both internally and externally
  • Experience working with complex technologies
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in additional languages
  • Experience selling AV equipment/services or language services
  • Experience selling B2B SaaS tech products

This is a contract position based in Los Altos, California. Wordly is a dynamic tech startup providing real-time translation services in over 50 languages for various clients worldwide, from local businesses to Fortune 500 companies. While this role is remote, office space is available for San Francisco Bay Area residents.
