The Role

Edelman London’s award-winning Technology practice is seeking an enthusiastic Assistant Account Executive to join its growing team. This role offers an opportunity for a media-savvy, passionate about technology, to work on some of the world’s most exciting technology brands, including Samsung, HP, AMD, Infosys, Zendesk, and Kraken. It is ideal for a candidate eager to accelerate their career working on iconic technology brands within a global team that strives for excellence.

What will the right person for this role do?

1. Support with regional communications programmes and campaigns
2. Assist in executing client’s communications campaigns across EMEA, focusing on regional rather than UK-specific efforts
3. Develop and maintain strong relationships with local Edelman and affiliate agency teams across the region
4. Support the implementation of region-wide client campaigns and assist local agencies with execution
5. Drive proactive media relations day-to-day
6. Identify relevant target media for news and stories
7. Build and nurture relationships with influential media on behalf of the client
8. Proactively seek media opportunities in national, broadcast, and technology trade media
9. Support on day-to-day client activities
10. Build strong relationships with clients and colleagues through professional and social networking
11. Write, edit, and proofread materials such as press releases, media pitches, fact sheets, and client correspondence
12. Work independently using initiative, but seek help when needed
13. Become a category/competitive expert
14. Provide clients with reports analyzing PR programs, coverage indicators, and competitor insights
15. Track and analyze monthly coverage, providing insights and recommendations for improvement
