Job summary

Thames Reach in London is seeking an Assistant Support Worker for the Robertson Street team. Salary £32,596 per year for 37.5 hours per week.

The role involves supporting people experiencing street homelessness, conducting assessments, and developing personalised support plans to help clients move on to independent living. You will contribute to daily service delivery, liaise with external agencies, and build strong relationships with clients while ensuring a safe and supportive hostel

Responsibilities

Contribute to effective day-to-day service delivery of a fast-paced hostel.
Conduct Risk Assessments, Needs Assessments and move-on plans with clients in the service.
Make referrals and liaise with external agencies to ensure clients are receiving appropriate support.
Build effective relationships with clients and support them to set and achieve goals and move towards living more independent and fulfilling lives.
Ensure the environment is safe, healthy, and reflective of our ethos.
