Job summary

Thames Reach is seeking a Support Worker to join the Robertson Street team in London on a fixed-term contract until July 2027. The role focuses on delivering person-centred support in hostel environments, completing assessments, and coordinating with partners to help clients move on from homelessness.

You will work 37.5 hours per week, with a focus on safety, health, and delivering outcomes for clients within agreed timeframes.

Qualifications

• Experience working with vulnerable people is desirable.
• Willingness to work in a homelessness-focused role and adapt to changing needs.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to day-to-day service delivery of a fast-paced hostel.
• Produce detailed Risk Assessments, Needs Assessments and move-on plans with clients.
• Make effective referrals and liaise with external agencies and councils to support clients.
