Assistant Stylist (Trainee Dog Groomer) £13.46 per hour

Who are we?

We’re Pets at Home – if you love pets, you might already know about our Pet Care Centres, which include Pets Grooming salons and Vets for Pets practices across the UK.

What are the roles?

Our Stylists and Assistant Stylist dog groomers are vital to the success of our Pets Grooming salons.

Stylist:

Responsible for all aspects of pet grooming, delivering high-standard full grooms, exceeding customer expectations through excellent service, and utilizing strong communication skills with customers and their pets.

Assistant Stylist:

Provide high-quality pet care, demonstrate understanding of grooming techniques, handling, equipment use, and pre-grooming prep. We will train you to offer services aligned with our goal of being the 'Best Pet Care Business in the World'. Who are we looking for?

• Passionate about delivering excellent service.
• Flexible to work a shift pattern across 6 days a week (we are closed on Sundays). The minimum contract is 39 hours, but additional hours may be required.
• Experience working with or handling dogs in a professional grooming or pet care environment (note: bathing/grooming your own dog does not qualify).
• Experience in a customer-facing role is preferred.
• Comfortable working in a target-driven environment.
