Assistant Stylist (Trainee Dog Groomer) £13.46 per hour

Who are we?

We’re Pets at Home – a company with Pet Care Centres, including Pets Grooming salons and Vets for Pets practices across the UK.

What are the roles?

Our Stylists and Assistant Stylist dog groomers are vital to our salons’ success.

Stylist:

Responsible for all aspects of pet grooming, delivering high-standard grooms, and providing excellent customer service. Strong communication skills are essential.

Assistant Stylist:

Deliver high-quality pet care with a basic understanding of dog grooming techniques. Training will be provided to develop your skills, with opportunities to earn through our Earn As You Learn programmes and additional pay through extra training.

Who are we looking for?

• Passionate about delivering great service.
• Flexible, able to work across 6 days a week (closed Sundays), with a minimum of 39 hours, but often more.
• Experience working with dogs in a professional grooming or pet care environment (personal grooming does not count).
• Experience in a customer-facing role is preferred.
• Comfortable in target-driven environments.
