Job summary

JD GROUP is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Greater London to support the Store Manager in driving sales, leading the team on the shop floor, and upholding brand standards. You will contribute to delivering exceptional customer experiences and ensuring daily operations run smoothly.

You’ll coach colleagues, monitor KPIs, manage till and stock processes, and help maintain high presentation and compliant standards across shifts.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience in retail or supervisory roles.
• Ability to interpret KPI and sales data to support decisions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for team and customer interactions.
• Experience directing store operations and driving performance on the shop floor.
• Track record of contributing to KPI achievement in retail settings.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager with daily store operations to help achieve sales targets and KPIs.
• Lead and guide colleagues on the shop floor, allocating tasks and maintaining standards.
• Assist with coaching and development, providing real-time feedback to the team.
• Maintain high presentation and operational standards, including stock, pricing, displays, and safety.
• Carry out core duties such as till checks, cash handling, deliveries, stock audits, and opening/closing routines.
