Machine Mart Ltd is seeking a store supervisor in the United Kingdom to share day-to-day store operations with the Store Manager. You may work up to 45 hours per week, with overtime paid or taken as time off in lieu.

You will co-lead a small team (4–6) and drive excellent customer service while aiming to hit ambitious sales targets. You will motivate the team, build rapport with customers, and offer honest product recommendations to help customers make confident choices.

Formación

• Experience in a retail customer service oriented or sales environment.
• Supervisory or junior management experience within a retail or field sales position, ideally in a hard goods environment.
• Knowledge of our product range is advantageous.
• Proven ability to sell product range.
• Proven ability to deliver excellent customer service.
• Proven experience in achieving sales targets.
• Confident, enthusiastic team player.
• Accuracy and numeracy with basic computer literacy.
• Self motivation and a can-do attitude.
• Desire to succeed both individually and as co-leader of the team.

• You will be working up to 45 hours per week - all extra time worked is paid or can be taken as time off in lieu
• You'll be leading by example, co-managing a small team of between 4 - 6 members of staff
• You'll be committed to motivating your team to deliver a great customer experience as well as achieving challenging sales targets
• With a commitment to offering honest advice, you will build rapport with customers, exceeding their expectations and reassuring them when they're bewildered by choice

What you'll need - skills and experience:

• Proven experience in a retail customer service orientated or sales environment
• Supervisory or junior management experience within a retail or field sales position, ideally in a hard goods environment
• You'll have practical experience / knowledge of some or all of our product range
• Proven ability to sell some or all of our product range
• Proven ability to deliver excellent customer service to all of our customers
• Proven experience in achieving sales targets
• You'll be a confident, enthusiastic team player
• Your personal skills should include accuracy and numeracy as well as basic computer literacy
• You'll possess a high degree of self motivation and a can-do attitude
• You'll demonstrate a desire to succeed both individually and as co-leader of the team
