Job summary

Howells Recruitment is assisting a leading Social Housing refurbishment contractor in recruiting an Assistant Site Manager to join their team in St Albans on a planned internal and external works project. You will supervise contractors, manage subcontractors, and oversee day-to-day delivery, ensuring works run safely, on time and to specification, with a competitive salary of £45k plus package.

This is a full-time, permanent role.

Qualifications

• SSSTS or SMSTS qualification desirable.
• Working towards NVQ Level 3 or 4.
• Social Housing experience preferred.
• Current DBS check or willingness to undergo DBS.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage contractors on site.
• Manage subcontractors and inspect properties pre- and post-works.
• Take part in progress meetings and oversee day-to-day delivery of the programme.

Assistant Site Manager - Social Housing Planned Works
Based in St Albans
£45k plus package

We are working with a leading Social Housing Refurbishment contractor to recruit an Assistant Site Manager to join their team in St Albans on a planned internal and external works project.

As the Assistant Site Manager you will supervise and manage the contractors undertaking works, ensuring the works are completed in a safe and efficient manner within stated timescales. You will be responsible for management of sub-contractors, inspecting properties pre and post works, taking progress meetings and overseeing the day to day delivery of the programme.

Assistant Site Manager Experience & Qualifications

• SSSTS or SMSTS
• Working towards an NVQ Level 3 or 4
• Social Housing experience
• CSCS Card
• Current DBS / Willingness to undertake DBS Check
• First Aid
• Knowledge of varied trades
• An excellent understanding of Health and Safety
• Asbestos Awareness
• Full Clean Driving License
