Job summary

Fawkes & Reece is seeking an Assistant Site Manager / Resident Liaison Officer to join their social housing refurbishment projects in the Bolton area. You will support site operations, ensure safety and quality, and maintain clear communication with residents and the client.

The role reports to a Site Manager and requires tickets (SMSTS/SSSTS, CSCS, First Aid) with a proven delivery record on social housing schemes. Salary is £36k with a £4k car allowance plus benefits.

Qualifications

• SMSTS/SSSTS, CSCS and First Aid are required tickets, with a proven track record delivering Social Housing Refurbishment schemes.
• Demonstrable stable and progressive career history on CV.

Responsibilities

• Ensure smooth operational running of the site and complete works within timescales and budget.
• Maintain health and safety and promote a positive H&S culture on site.
• Monitor quality of work across trades and operations.
• Liaise with client to manage expectations and communications.
• Liaise with residents and keep them updated on construction progress.
• Order materials to support ongoing works.

The company specialise in Social Housing refurbishments across Greater Manchester, working within tenanted properties with the aim to improve the condition of homes across the region. The company work across internal refurbishments, external refurbishments, fire safety upgrades and energy efficiency upgrades.

They are looking for an Assistant Site Manager / Resident Liaison Officer (this is a dual role) to join their team.

This is working on a planned refurbishment scheme either in the Oldham, Bolton or Manchester region.

This is a great opportunity to join a well-established Main Contractor who have a healthy pipeline of work and operate on a number of schemes.

You will be reporting into a Site Manager and your responsibilities will include:

• The smooth operational running of the site, ensuring the programme of works is completed within correct timescales and budget.
• Ensuring health & safety is maintained and creating a positive attitude towards H&S throughout the team
• Monitoring the quality of work
• Liaising with the client
• Liaising with residents and ensuring they are kept updated with the construction process
• Ordering materials

Experience needed:

SMSTS/SSSTS, CSCS and First Aid are required tickets, along with a proven track record of successfully delivering Social Housing Refurbishment schemes.

You must be able to demonstrate a stable and progressive career history on your CV.

The salary on offer is £36k (depending on experience) plus 4k car allowance and other benefits.
