Job summary

Fawkes & Reece Group in Greater Manchester is seeking an Assistant Site Manager to join our team on planned refurbishment schemes in Oldham, Bolton or Manchester. You will report to a Site Manager and help ensure works run on time and to budget.

You will maintain health and safety, monitor quality, liaise with residents and clients, and coordinate materials and site operations to support successful project delivery.

Qualifications

• SMSTS/SSSTS, CSCS and First Aid tickets required.
• Proven track record delivering Social Housing Refurbishment schemes.
• Stable and progressive career history on CV.

Responsibilities

• Oversee smooth operation of the site to complete the programme on time and within budget.
• Maintain health and safety and promote a positive H&S culture on site.
• Monitor the quality of work and liaise with the client.
• Liaise with residents and keep them updated on progress.
• Order materials and manage site logistics.

The company specialise in Social Housing refurbishments across Greater Manchester, working within tenanted properties with the aim to improve the condition of homes across the region. The company work across internal refurbishments, external refurbishments, fire safety upgrades and energy efficiency upgrades.

They are looking for an Assistant Site Manager to join their team.

This is working on a planned refurbishment scheme either in the Oldham, Bolton or Manchester region.

This is a great opportunity to join a well-established Main Contractor who have a healthy pipeline of work and operate on a number of schemes.

You will be reporting into a Site Manager and your responsibilities will include:

• The smooth operational running of the site, ensuring the programme of works is completed within correct timescales and budget.
• Ensuring health & safety is maintained and creating a positive attitude towards H&S throughout the team
• Monitoring the quality of work
• Liaising with the client
• Liaising with residents and ensuring they are kept updated with the construction process
• Ordering materials

Experience needed:

SMSTS/SSSTS, CSCS and First Aid are required tickets, along with a proven track record of successfully delivering Social Housing Refurbishment schemes.

You must be able to demonstrate a stable and progressive career history on your CV.

The salary on offer is £36k (depending on experience) plus 4k car allowance and other benefits.
