Job summary

Fawkes & Reece Group is seeking an Assistant Site Manager to join our team on a planned refurbishment scheme in the Bolton/Oldham/Manchester region. The role reports to a Site Manager and focuses on delivering social housing refurbishments with a strong emphasis on health and safety, quality, and resident liaison.

The ideal candidate will hold SMSTS/SSSTS, CSCS and First Aid tickets, and demonstrate a stable, progressive career history with previous social housing project delivery.

Qualifications

• SMSTS/SSSTS, CSCS and First Aid are required tickets.
• Proven track record delivering Social Housing refurbishment schemes.

Responsibilities

• Ensure smooth site operations, delivering works on time and within budget.
• Maintain health and safety and promote a strong H&S culture on site.
• Monitor quality of work.
• Liaise with client.
• Inform residents and keep them updated on progress.

The company specialise in Social Housing refurbishments across Greater Manchester, working within tenanted properties with the aim to improve the condition of homes across the region. The company work across internal refurbishments, external refurbishments, fire safety upgrades and energy efficiency upgrades.

They are looking for an Assistant Site Manager to join their team.

This is working on a planned refurbishment scheme either in the Oldham, Bolton or Manchester region.

This is a great opportunity to join a well-established Main Contractor who have a healthy pipeline of work and operate on a number of schemes.

You will be reporting into a Site Manager and your responsibilities will include:

• The smooth operational running of the site, ensuring the programme of works is completed within correct timescales and budget.
• Ensuring health & safety is maintained and creating a positive attitude towards H&S throughout the team
• Monitoring the quality of work
• Liaising with the client
• Liaising with residents and ensuring they are kept updated with the construction process
• Ordering materials

Experience needed:

SMSTS/SSSTS, CSCS and First Aid are required tickets, along with a proven track record of successfully delivering Social Housing Refurbishment schemes.

You must be able to demonstrate a stable and progressive career history on your CV.

The salary on offer is £36k (depending on experience) plus 4k car allowance and other benefits.
