Places Developments is seeking an enthusiastic and driven Assistant Site Manager to support the successful delivery of one of our developments. Working closely with the Site Manager and the wider project team, you will coordinate day-to-day activity on site, ensuring work progresses safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards.

You will assist with day-to-day management, promote safe working practices, monitor quality and Build Stage Inspection processes, conduct health and safety

Qualificações

• CSCS supervisor accreditation is required.
• SMSTS qualification is required.
• First Aid certificate is required.
• Strong IT and communication skills are essential.
• Knowledge of NHBC standards and building control requirements is preferred.
• Experience in housebuilding or residential construction is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Assist the Site Manager with day-to-day management of construction activity in line with programme, budget and quality.
• Promote safe working practices across the development and maintain a professional site culture.
• Monitor quality and Build Stage Inspection processes.
• Conduct health and safety inductions for contractors and visitors.
• Plan and coordinate work packages, site activities and logistics to minimise risks.
• Work with contractors, suppliers, NHBC and stakeholders to keep activity progressing and deadlines on track.
• Deputise for the Site Manager when required and maintain site management and discipline.
• Liaise with homeowners and coordinate snagging completion.
