Job summary

Places Developments on our Castlethorpe site is seeking an enthusiastic Assistant Site Manager to help deliver high-quality homes. You will work closely with the Site Manager and project team to coordinate day-to-day activity, ensuring safety, efficiency and rigorous build standards.

Responsibilities include planning work packages, monitoring progress against the programme, carrying out inductions, liaising with contractors, NHBC and homeowners to resolve issues and keep deadlines on track.

Qualifications

• CSCS supervisor accreditation essential.
• SMSTS qualification required.
• First Aid certificate required.
• Scaffold Inspection qualification desirable.
• NHBC standards knowledge preferred.
• Previous experience in housebuilding or residential construction.
• Full UK driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Assist Site Manager with daily construction activity and coordinating on-site tasks.
• Ensure work is delivered in line with the programme, budget and quality standards.
• Promote safe working practices and maintain a positive site culture.
• Plan and coordinate work packages, site activities and logistics to manage risk.
• Liaise with contractors, NHBC and other stakeholders to keep activity progressing and deadlines on track.
• Deputise for the Site Manager when required and maintain site discipline.
• Coordinate snagging and handover with new homeowners.
