Job summary

Skilled Careers is assisting a leading PLC housebuilder in recruiting an Assistant Site Manager for a residential development. You will work with the Site Manager and team to deliver internal fit-out, manage programmes and ensure customer completions.

Applicants should have strong experience in residential site management, NHBC standards, and Building Regulations, with CSCS/SMSTS/SSSTS and First Aid qualifications. A competitive package is on offer.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an Assistant Site Manager or similar residential role.
• Strong experience managing internal fit-out stages across multiple plots.
• Good knowledge of NHBC standards, inspections and Building Regulations.
• Experience creating and managing short-term construction programmes.
• Understanding of Part L requirements and BREL photo evidence.
• Timber frame construction experience.
• CSCS, SMSTS or SSSTS and First Aid qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple plots simultaneously and coordinate trades.
• Oversee internal fit-out works and progress to completion.
• Coordinate inspections and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Create and distribute build programmes and track deadlines.
• Support health and safety standards across the development.
• Assist Senior Site Manager and wider team.
• Maintain a professional customer-focused approach throughout the construction process.
