Job summary

Award-Winning PLC Housebuilder is seeking an experienced Assistant Site Manager to join a leading residential development team in the Bedford area. You will work with the Site Manager to deliver new-build homes, focusing on internal fit-out, programme management, quality control and customer completions.

You will manage multiple plots, coordinate trades and ensure compliance with NHBC standards and Building Regulations, while maintaining high health and safety standards and contributing to

Qualifications

• Experience as an Assistant Site Manager or similar residential site management role.
• Strong track record managing internal fit-out stages across multiple plots.

Responsibilities

• Manage 10–15 plots in varying stages of construction.
• Oversee internal fit-out works and coordinate subcontractors.
• Prepare NHBC key stage inspections and ensure compliance with Building Regulations.
• Create and monitor short-term build programmes and deadlines.
• Coordinate trades, materials and resources to hit targets.
• Oversee snagging, inspections and customer handovers.
• Maintain health and safety standards across the development.
• Collaborate with Senior Site Manager and wider teams.
