Skilled Careers is seeking an Assistant Site Manager for a flagship large-scale residential development in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk. Reporting to the Site Manager, you will help manage subcontractors, ensure safety, stay on programme, and uphold quality for a high-volume build.

Ideal candidate has experience in residential housebuilding, strong organisation and communication, and relevant qualifications (SMSTS/SSSTS, CSCS, First Aid). Salary £45,000-£55,000 with benefits and career progression.

Qualifikationen

• Experience as an Assistant Site Manager within residential housebuilding.
• Strong understanding of traditional build construction methods.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Proactive and positive approach to site management.
• Passion for delivering high-quality homes.
• SMSTS or SSSTS, CSCS Card and First Aid qualifications (preferred).

Aufgaben

• Assist with management of subcontractors on site.
• Monitor health & safety compliance across the development.
• Ensure works are completed in line with programme requirements.
• Maintain high standards of quality and presentation throughout the build.
• Support plot completions and customer handovers.
• Coordinate trades and suppliers to ensure efficient site operations.
• Assist with site inspections and audits.
• Drive production whilst maintaining exceptional build quality.
