Job summary

We Recruit Group Ltd is seeking an experienced Assistant Site Manager to join our residential construction team, delivering high-quality new-build homes ready for handover.

You will manage finishing works, coordinate subcontractors, carry out quality inspections and snagging, prepare plots for NHBC inspections and customer handovers, and work closely with the Site Manager to meet build programmes while upholding stringent health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Finishing Foreman within residential housebuilding.
• Strong knowledge of internal and external finishing trades.
• Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to quality.
• Ability to manage subcontractors and meet tight deadlines.
• Valid CSCS Card and UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Manage finishing works across a busy residential housing development.
• Coordinate subcontractors to ensure works are completed safely, on time, and to a high standard.
• Carry out quality inspections and snagging, ensuring defects are rectified promptly.
• Prepare plots for NHBC inspections and customer handovers.
• Work closely with the Site Manager to ensure build programmes are achieved.
• Maintain excellent health and safety standards on site.
• Ensure all plots are completed in line with company quality standards and programme requirements.
• Liaise with Customer Care and Sales teams where required to ensure smooth completions.
