Job summary

Randstad CPE is recruiting on behalf of a premier North East housebuilder for an Assistant Site Manager role in Northumberland. You will support the Site Manager daily, coordinate trades, maintain NHBC/LABC quality, and drive build progression with safety front and centre.

This full-time position requires CSCS Card, SMSTS/SSSTS, First Aid at Work and a UK driving licence. Based on North East sites, it offers a competitive package with bonus and benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience as an Assistant Site Manager within residential housebuilding.
• Strong knowledge of NHBC/LABC standards and site QA.
• Valid CSCS Card, SMSTS/SSSTS, and First Aid at Work required.

Responsibilities

• Daily site supervision and coordination of sub-contractor activities.
• Quality assurance to meet NHBC/LABC standards and targets.
• Enforce health & safety policies and lead toolbox talks.
• Track build schedules and assist with handover milestones.
• Support customer care through pre-handover inspections.
