Job summary

Randstad CPE is seeking an Assistant Site Manager to support a busy residential site in Bicester. You will assist the site manager, coordinate trades, monitor safety and quality, and help deliver high-quality homes on schedule and to specification.

The role requires supervisory experience on new builds, knowledge of building regulations and NHBC standards, and valid CSCS, SMSTS and First Aid at Work certifications.

Qualifications

• Supervisory or assistant role on new build residential developments.
• Strong knowledge of residential construction, building regulations and NHBC standards.
• CSCS Card, SMSTS, First Aid at Work certifications.
• Strong organisational, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Problem-solving with attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Commitment to delivering high-quality homes and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with construction methods, health and safety regulations and company policies, supporting the site manager in corrective actions and risk management.
• Coordinate with utility companies, trades and suppliers to ensure timely delivery and quality of materials and services.
• Attend and support weekly site meetings, promoting communication, standards and safety.
• Maintain site presentation, secure documentation and manage site inductions for all personnel.
• Monitor health and safety practices, accident reporting and environmental policies.
• Oversee quality control, including inspections, snagging and standards for trades and materials.
• Provide support in customer-facing activities, including home demonstrations and service visits.
