Job summary

Fawkes & Reece Group is seeking an experienced Assistant Site Manager for a Midlands housing development. You will support the Site Manager in daily on-site duties, coordinating subcontractors and trades, monitoring progress and enforcing health and safety standards to meet the project’s quality requirements.

Experience in large-scale private housebuilding, traditional build and timber frame construction, and a solid grasp of build programmes are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience as Assistant Site Manager in new build housing.
• Experience with traditional build and timber frame construction.
• SMSTS preferred, SSSTS will be considered.
• CSCS card is required.
• Strong understanding of residential construction, health & safety and site procedures.
• Experience coordinating subcontractors and trades.
• Knowledge of build programmes, quality control and site management.
• Strong communication, organisation and leadership skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a busy, high-volume housebuilding environment.
