Job summary

The successful candidate will work closely with the Site Manager, bring timber-frame expertise, and demonstrate strong communication to manage day-to-day site operations and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Assistant Site Manager within new-build housing.
• Strong knowledge of residential construction practices.
• Timber-frame experience is highly desirable.
• Experience on high-specification developments and coordinating trades.
• Good attention to detail with focus on quality and safety.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage subcontractors and trades on site.
• Monitor progress, quality, and safety to meet required standards.
• Assist Site Manager to run day-to-day site activity on a busy housing project.
