Job summary

We are recruiting an experienced Assistant Site Manager for a large-scale, high-volume housing development in Gobowen, West Midlands. You will work with the Site Manager to ensure safe delivery, on programme and to the required quality standards.

Experience on large-scale housing is essential, with strong coordination of subcontractors, knowledge of build programmes and a proactive approach to safety. SMSTS/SSSTS and CSCS are desirable, with First Aid preferred.

Qualifications

• Essential: proven experience on large-scale new-build housing developments.
• Previous experience as an Assistant Site Manager within new build housing.
• Experience with traditional build and timber frame construction.
• SMSTS preferred, SSSTS will be considered.
• Valid CSCS card.
• Valid First Aid qualification.
• Strong understanding of residential construction, health & safety and site procedures.
• Experience coordinating subcontractors and trades.
• Good knowledge of build programmes, quality control and site management.
• Strong communication, organisation and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day management of the development, ensuring safety, on programme and to required quality standards.
• Support coordination of subcontractors and trades, monitor progress and maintain health & safety standards.
• Ensure works are completed in line with high-quality requirements.
