Job summary

We Are Footprint is recruiting on behalf of an established main contractor for an experienced Site Manager to join their West Midlands team, delivering new-build residential projects including social and affordable housing. You will oversee day-to-day management, safety and quality, coordinating with design teams, subcontractors and local authorities to ensure on-time delivery.

The role focuses on programming, site logistics, and robust leadership, requiring a strong background in housing

Qualifications

• Strong social / affordable housing experience.
• Good technical knowledge to support the design team.
• Experience managing highways and utilities agreements through to adoption.
• Strong understanding of programming, build sequencing and site logistics.
• Experience with both traditional construction and timber frame.
• Good knowledge of current Building Regulations, NHBC and LABC standards.
• Strong subcontractor and consultant management skills.
• Good man-management and communication skills.
• Highly organised with excellent prioritisation and time-management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards.
• Excellent approach to health & safety and general compliance.

Responsibilities
