Job summary

Kingdom Search seeks a Freelance Assistant Site Manager for a £70m school development in Hounslow, West London. The role is long-term through to 2028, with an immediate start possible from next week.

You will assist with internal fit-out, manage safety and compliance, and support the site team on snagging and quality control.

Requirements include SMSTS, First Aid, CSCS, NVQ Level 6 / Black Card progress, and prior live-site ASM experience.

Qualifications

• Currently working towards NVQ Level 6 / Black Card as Site Manager.
• Previous Assistant Site Manager or similar on live construction site.

ROLE: Freelance Assistant Site Manager £70m School Development Hounslow, West London

Our client, a well respected National Tier 1 main contractor, is seeking an Assistant Site Manager to join the team on a £70m school scheme in Feltham, Hounslow. This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven ASM looking to progress towards a full Site Manager position, working on a long-term project through to completion in 2028.

The Role:

• Assisting with internal fit-out works, with possible involvement in external works as well.
• Supporting site management with compliance Duties include: overseeing safety, tick sheets and documentation, checking working areas, ensuring checks are logged and recorded correctly, and confirming plant is correctly labelled/stickered
• Strong working knowledge of Health & Safety on site, with the confidence to raise and address non-compliance issues directly with contractors
• A keen eye for detail across both safety and workmanship, including the ability to carry out detailed snagging

Requirements:

• Qualifications: You should ideally hold SMSTS + First Aid + Valid CSCS card (colour flexible does not need to be Black at this stage)
• Currently working towards NVQ Level 6 / Black Card as a Site Manager
• Previous experience in an Assistant Site Manager or similar role on a live construction site

Package & Hours:

• Pay circa £200 £250 per day NEG DOE (CIS)
• Monday Friday, 7:30am 6:00pm (inclusive of a one-hour break)
• Some Saturday working required
• Immediate start / start as early as next week
• Long-term position through to project completion (2028)
