Job summary

Barratt Developments plc on a range of sites across the UK is seeking an assistant Site Manager to support the Site Manager in delivering projects to programme, quality and cost targets. You will coordinate trades, supervise on-site teams and ensure health and safety compliance.

You will be expected to be proactive, manage resources, attend Sales/Build meetings and maintain customer service standards on show homes. A relevant construction qualification and strong leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience working with established build programmes.
• Ability to deliver targets by on-site teams and trades/labour.
• Prioritise tasks to meet changing business needs.
• Member of the Chartered Institute of Builders and/or NVQ level in Construction Management or time-served tradesman.

Responsibilities

• Support the Site Manager in coordinating trades, direct labour and materials to meet the production programme.
• Work with Sales Team to attend Sales/Build meetings and inspections of show homes.
• Accept responsibility for duties as the Site Manager may determine; deputise when required.
• Ensure the on-site team is well-resourced with clear job responsibilities and development.
• Deliver excellent customer service to customers in line with company guidelines.
