Job summary

Mind Retail is seeking an Assistant Shop Manager in Cardiff to drive sales and profit targets while maintaining outstanding customer service. You will work with the Shop Manager and volunteers to create a welcoming community hub and ensure smooth day-to-day shop operations when the manager is away.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail leadership or shift-management preferred.
• Ability to lead and motivate a team including volunteers.
• Plan and prioritise own workload and team workload.
• Strong customer focus with a friendly, helpful approach.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Shop Manager to hit sales and profit targets for the shop.
• Deliver excellent customer service and maintain high shop standards.
• Take day-to-day responsibility when the Shop Manager is unavailable.
• Support personal and professional development within the team.
