Job summary

The Air Ambulance Service in Rugby is seeking a Warehouse and Workflow Team Leader to oversee the day-to-day hub operations, including receipt, sorting, storage and distribution of donated goods. You will coordinate transport across shops and donation points and lead staff, volunteers and drivers to maximise income and maintain high standards.

What You'll Be Doing:

The Warehouse and Workflow Team Leader is responsible for leading the day-to-day operation of the Hub. This role ensures the efficient receipt, sorting, categorisation, storage, and distribution of donated goods while coordinating transport operations across shops, clothing banks and donation points. The postholder will lead warehouse operatives, volunteers, and drivers to maximise income from donations, maintain excellent operational standards, and deliver safe, effective, and compliant warehouse and logistics services.

Essential
  • Collaborative approach to achieving departmental and wider organisational objectives.

  • Experience supervising or leading teams within a warehouse, logistics, retail, or distribution environment.
  • Experience coordinating operational workflows and stock management processes.
  • Experience leading, supporting, or working with team members/volunteers.
  • Strong organisational and planning skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritise workloads and solve problems effectively.
  • Competent IT skills including Microsoft Office and reporting systems.
  • Understanding of Health & Safety requirements within warehouse and transport environments.
  • Full UK driving licence.
Desirable
  • Experience within the charity retail sector.
  • Experience using stock control or warehouse management processes.
