Job summary

The Air Ambulance Service in Loughborough is seeking an Assistant Shop Manager to lead the shop team, maximise sales and profitability, and manage volunteers and staff. This is a fixed-term 3-month contract with 12 hours per week. The role offers benefits and opportunities to contribute to lifesaving work.

You will support the shop manager, drive performance, and help create a welcoming, high-standard retail environment that reflects our mission and values.

What You'll Be Doing:

To assist and support the shop manager to maximise sales and profits of your shop. Support the guiding and managing of both employees and volunteers to achieve specific goals and objectives. Help to provide direction, support, and motivation to the team members, delegating tasks, monitoring progress, and ensuring effective communication within the team. Proactively support and encourage both personal and professional development of the team. Assist in running the shop autonomously, ensuring delivery of a profitable and customer-focused shop.
