Mencap is seeking an Assistant Service Manager to support four supported living services in Woking, Guildford and Cranleigh. This fixed-term role (six months) is 37.5 hours per week and focuses on service smooth operation and team development.

You will support the Service Manager with management tasks, inductions, risk assessments, medication audits, and payroll data while coordinating with social workers, families and other agencies to ensure high-quality care.

Formación

• Experience leading teams in care/support settings.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to coordinate across multiple services and agencies.

Responsabilidades

• Lead on management tasks across four supported living services.
• Promote a accountable team culture and informed decision-making.
• Oversee induction, training, and performance reviews for staff.
• Complete regular medication audits and finance checks; maintain health and safety records.
