Job summary

Avenues Group is seeking an Assistant Service Manager to lead teams across two services in Meadowview, West Malling and Millfield, West Kingsdown. The role supports the Service Manager to deliver high-quality care that respects individuals' preferences and rights.

You will recruit, coach and motivate staff, ensure compliance with CQC regulations, and maintain safe, person-centred support in line with policy. A full UK driving license is required.

Qualifications

• Level 3-5 Health & Social Care qualification or working toward.
• Experience in care settings and supervising staff.
• Commitment to person-centred approaches and inclusive community links.

Responsibilities

• Support the Service Manager to lead the team and ensure a high-quality service while implementing current legislation and CQC requirements.
• Recruit, develop and manage employees in a fair and consistent manner.
• Attend care reviews, update care plans and risk assessments, and monitor daily logs.
• Lead training and coaching to inspire excellent support and leadership by example.
• Provide day-to-day support and manage the service and team to meet KPIs.
