Job summary

The Avenues Trust Group is seeking an Assistant Service Manager to lead a dedicated team across two supported living services in West Malling and West Kingsdown. You will work with the Service Manager to deliver person-centred supports, ensure compliance with current legislation and CQC requirements, and promote inclusive community links.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a care/service delivery team in health and social care.
• Level 3–5 Health & Social Care qualification or equivalent.
• Strong leadership, coaching and ability to motivate a team.
• Capability to manage risk, safeguarding and compliance.
• Full UK driving license with access to a vehicle and business insurance.

Responsibilities

• Support the Service Manager to inspire and motivate the team to high quality standards.
• Recruit, develop and manage staff in a fair, consistent manner.
• Ensure policies, care plans and risk assessments are up to date.
• Attend care reviews and contribute to service improvement initiatives.
• Lead shifts and participate in medication administration as required.
• Promote person-centred approaches and community links.
