Job summary

Perfect Placement UK Ltd in Cardiff seeks an experienced Assistant Service Manager to join a well-established multi-franchise dealership. The role offers a clear path for career progression within a reputable dealer group.

The position features a competitive basic salary up to £35,000 with OTE £40,000, plus benefits and long-term growth. Monday–Friday 8:30am–5:00pm with alternating Saturday mornings. Cardiff-based role with UK driving license required.

Qualifications

• Proven dealership experience, ideally as Senior Service Advisor or Assistant Service Manager.
• Familiarity with high-volume service operations.
• Full UK driving licence with minimal points.
• Ability to work Monday to Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm, and 1 in 3 Saturday mornings.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Service Manager in overseeing the service department and large service team.
• Ensure efficient operation of the service reception to deliver customer satisfaction.
• Work at the front desk, booking customers and managing needs/workflow.
• Maximise workshop utilisation and labour sales to meet targets.
• Contribute to performance monitoring and departmental organisation.
• Maintain high standards of customer service and professionalism.
• Support recovery operations with approximately 80 vehicles throughputs daily.
